kids clothes week catch-up

During kcwc my plan was to sew like a mad woman, but I ended up spending most of the week tracing out patterns instead.  Still in the sewing vein but not as gratifying as actually making clothes. So over the last week I played some catch-up and made some cute clothes for Sophie to wear this Fall. I still have a a few more patterns traced and ready to cut so hopefully next week will be as productive!

Oliver + S Class Picnic Top made with Alexander Henry " Farmdale Delicious"
Oliver + S Sunday Brunch Jacket made with Anna Marie Horner "Queen of Hearts" velveteen
( a complete copycat of this version made by skirt_as_top)

Oliver + S Ice Cream Top made with Robert Kaufmann "Chick, Chick" fabric left over from this dress

Last week the kids and I also got a chance to visit an amazing pumpkin patch with my dad. It is called Banducci's Family Pumpkin Patch as if you are in the Bakersfield, CA area it is definitely worth seeking out.

It was a great place for pictures, unfortunately the kids were so excited that most of my photos are of the sides of their heads as they ran from place to place. I have a feeling we will be going back soon, so hopefully I'll be a little quicker next time.

The little pumpkin village at our front door makes it feel like Fall around here, even if we are still using our air conditioner. I hope you are enjoying the season!
